Warmly regarded as a true golf legend and widely-respected as a golf course architect, Gary Player has put his personal stamp on the links of Alaqua. It's not just the 55-foot-high tees that get your attention. He designed the course to be consistently enjoyable and quite fair for his level of play and for that of the 15-handicapper. Beauty, playability and variety of shot-making were the objectives. According to the many pros who have tackled Alaqua at one time or another - and the members who tour the course every weekend - this eighteen accomplishes them all.

Alaqua Country Club’s new clubhouse is complete!
We have built a new, more intimate, 14,000 sq. ft. clubhouse that is consistent with the architecture of a majority of the homes in Alaqua. It is beautiful and functional and we are excited to present it to our new members. If you haven’t visited yet, stop by and have lunch, dinner, or just relax on the back patio with a refreshing beverage while watching the golfers finish up on the new 18th hole.
We hope you enjoy it.
